Easter Happenings

Happy Easter 2009!

(Yes, I am a day late...) This was Kylee's first Easter and I must say I believe it was quite the success! We woke up and got out of the house by 10 so we could make it to Mass at St. Gerald's (it's such a beautiful church and I can't wait to get married there!). After church we went go Grandma and Grandpa's house (on Tim's side) for Easter lunch. We had tons of food and goodies (a little TOO much cheesecake...but it was yummy). Kylee, of course, was given the pass around. She enjoyed this and put on quite a performance. She enjoyed some baby pears and showing off her recently acquired sippy cup skills. We headed home around 4 o'clock and Kylee checked out her Easter basket..

Her favorite thing is by far her gloworm baby. But she also really likes her seashorse rattle/teether. She also tried a few licks on a sucker but she wasn't impressed. After going through her basket, she cuddled on the couch with daddy so mommy could rest and get ready for work (yeah..lovely, huh?)

First Easter as a family? I'd say it was quite the success and everyone slept well that night. (Except mommy because she was at work...but Kylee did snuggle up and take a long nap with me this morning..love her!) Blessings to you and yours!
